Senior Technical Project Manager - Cloud Implementation & Agile Delivery - £600-£650 per day - Inside IR35 - Remote - Initial 6 month contract.

My client, a leading global nuclear engineering organisation, is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join their high-performing team. This role focuses on delivering complex cloud implementation and migration projects, leveraging both Kanban and Scrum methodologies to ensure successful outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background, with hands-on experience in both cloud-to-cloud and on-prem to cloud migrations across Azure and AWS environments. You'll be responsible for driving full project lifecycles-from planning through execution-while aligning closely with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, and engineering.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead end-to-end delivery of cloud migration and implementation projects.
Oversee cloud-to-cloud and on-premise-to-cloud migrations.
Apply Kanban and Scrum methodologies to manage tasks, timelines, and team workflows.
Collaborate with DevOps, engineering, and security teams to ensure secure, timely deployments.
Define and control project scope, deliverables, risks, and budgets.
Drive stakeholder engagement and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
Support cloud automation initiatives and continuous improvement.
Leverage tools such as Azure DevOps Boards to track progress and manage team capacity.
Requirements:

Proven experience managing complex cloud migration and cloud implementation projects.
Understanding of Azure and AWS ecosystems.
Practical experience with Kanban and Scrum in a technical project delivery environment.
Experience collaborating with DevOps teams and using tools like Azure DevOps.
Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, high-stakes environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with large-scale enterprise migrations.
Background in software development or infrastructure engineering is a strong plus.
