Overview

Oversee patch management lifecycle and ensure compliance, security, and stability across Windows servers and endpoints. Administer patching platforms and coordinate with Security and ITIL-based change management.


Responsibilities

  • Oversee full patch lifecycle: assessment, testing, deployment, and reporting.
  • Manage Windows patching across servers and endpoints using SCCM/MECM and Ivanti.
  • Ensure compliance, security, and stability through structured patching processes.
  • Administer SCCM/MECM and Ivanti patching platforms.
  • Automate tasks with PowerShell; generate compliance reports.
  • Coordinate with Security for CVE remediation and ITIL-based change management.

Qualifications

  • Several years of Wintel administration and patching experience.
  • Several years with SCCM/MECM (SUP/WSUS, ADRs, collections).
  • Several years with Ivanti patching tools.
  • Strong PowerShell scripting and reporting (SSRS/SQL).
  • Knowledge of WSUS, Intune/WUfB, and virtualization (VMware/Hyper-V).
  • Nice to Have: Azure Update Manager, Intune co-management, CIS baselines.
  • Certifications: Microsoft, Ivanti, ITIL.
