Job Role

As a key member of our innovative and rapidly growing team, you will be responsible for the mechanical design and specification of fit‑out projects by producing detailed technical mechanical drawing plans. You will join the internal design team in our open‑planned office and play a crucial role in the company’s future growth.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design and specify fit‑out projects, producing technical drawings for HVAC, water, plumbing and drainage, compressed air systems, refrigeration and cold rooms.
  • Work systematically to meet strict deadlines and fulfil clients’ expectations, collaborating cross‑functionally with Pre‑Construction and Operations teams.
  • Coordinate packages and produce high‑level drawings that are functional, safe and comply with Building Regulations.
  • Follow specifications and calculations to produce technical drawings for food factories and staff facilities.
  • Communicate and work with mechanical contractors to develop designs.
  • Consider build costs when designing and look to value‑engineer where possible.
  • Ensure final designs comply with commercial building regulations.
  • Use specialist BIM (Revit) software and other resources to design required systems.

Experience Required

  • Proficiency in Revit.
  • Experience creating detailed schematics and drawings within the commercial industry.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and solid knowledge of the discipline.
  • Knowledge of construction processes and how they relate to technical design.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and meticulous design implementation.

Location & Working Hours

Office based in Winnersh RG41 5HU.


39 hours per week: Monday to Thursday 8am‑5pm, Friday 8am‑4pm.


Compensation

£60,000+ per annum depending on experience.
