Senior Infrastructure Engineer (EUC / MDM) - SC Cleared

We have an excellent opportunity for a SC cleared Senior Infrastructure Engineer (End User Computing) to join a Central Government department within its Technology Services directorate.

With a focus on Mobile Device Management (MDM), you will be responsible for designing and delivering high quality solutions across an extensive estate. You will have demonstrable experience of taking a set of requirements and expanding the requirements into deliverables.

Key responsibilities will include:

Designing and delivering high-quality MDM solutions

Building and maintaining a performance-focused user experience control centre.

Engaging hybrid cloud services to improve flexibility and scalability.

Essential skills required:

Strong experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), ideally Microsoft Intune and Google Workspace.

Demonstrable experience in designing, configuring and delivering MDM solutions.

Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels

Good knowledge of troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the MDM space.

Good knowledge of Windows and Mobile Operating systems

Good experience with SaaS service monitoring tools and controls for ensuring performance and reliability.

Good knowledge of cloud-based technologies and services, particularly hybrid cloud environments.

To be considered suitable, demonstrable experience of taking a set of requirements from inception, through to delivery, is a pre-requisite.

The assignment is offered on a hybrid working model: 3 days in the Manchester office and 2 days WFH. The assignment is inside scope of IR35.

Ideal candidates will hold active SC clearance however candidates who are SC eligible and prepared to go through vetting will be considered, should they meet the requirements of the role.
