Key Responsibilities

  • A communicator: Share knowledge and information in a way that customers understand the situation and feel safe.
  • A dedicated learner: On your journey to becoming a patrol, soak up knowledge and learn from others on the road or in structured learning settings.
  • A self‑starter: Work independently as well as collaborate as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers.
  • A fixer/problem‑solver: Use technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, fixing the vehicle by the roadside or recovering it to a garage, enabling customers to get on with their day.

Required Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
  • Full Category B driving licence, with 6 points or less; we will fund Category BE (towing) if you do not already have it.
  • Willingness to work shifts that may include evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Salary

Base salary: £29,350 per annum. Top performers can earn upwards of OTE £44,000.
