Join the Roadside Assist Mechanic development programme and we’ll fine tune your expertise with ongoing support and training. If you’ve got the drive to succeed, we want to hear from you. By joining our development programme, you pledge to become a fully-fledged Roadside Rescue Mechanic with us in the future.

Responsibilities
  • A communicator: You’ll share knowledge and information in a way that customers understand and feel that their needs are being taken care of.
  • A dedicated learner: While on your journey to becoming a fully-fledged patrol, you will soak up knowledge and learn from others, whether on the road or in structured learning settings.
  • A self-starter: You will be content working independently, as well as collaborating as part of a team, driving to different locations in all weathers.
  • A fixer/problem solver: You will use your technical expertise to solve a variety of issues, whether repairing the vehicle roadside or recovering it to a garage to enable the customer to get back on their day.
What you need / Qualifications
  • NVQ 2 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience
  • Full category B driving licence, with 6 points or less
  • If you do not have category BE (towing), we’ll fund it for you
  • Willingness to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays

  • Base Salary: £31,406 including location allowance (the base salary is achieved on a 40-hour working week)
