Recruitment Consultant – Engineering Division
EMBS Group | Permanent | Derby (Hybrid)

EMBS Group is a dedicated talent management consultancy supporting the Engineering and Technology sectors. Due to sustained growth and ambitious expansion plans, we are looking to hire an experienced Recruitment Consultant to join our Engineering Division.

This role offers the opportunity to step into a warm desk with live roles available immediately, working with established clients across complex and highly regulated engineering markets, including:

  • Aerospace

  • Automotive / Motorsport

  • Nuclear

  • Rail

    This is a permanent position, designed for individuals seeking stability, longevity, and genuine career progression. EMBS Group is scaling rapidly, with plans to double turnover within the next two years and expand significantly over the next five. We are building a long-term team of high-performing consultants who want to grow as the business grows.

    What Success Looks Like

    Our consultants are delivery-focused and commercially aware. Basic expectations include:

  • 25+ candidate conversations per week

  • 10+ qualified CV submissions to clients including MPC's

  • End-to-end delivery management, alongside proactive client outreach

    What You’ll Need to Bring

  • Proven recruitment experience (projects, delivery)

  • Background in technical, industrial, or engineering recruitment (preferred)

  • Demonstrable placements as a recruiter or Talent Acquisition professional

  • Ability to work autonomously in a high pressure professional services environment

  • Strong mental resilience - recruitment is demanding and fast-paced

  • Confidence using CRM systems and LinkedIn Recruiter

    Previous recruitment experience is essential.
