An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Product Consultant to join a growing technology business delivering advanced ITAM, SAM and FinOps solutions to enterprise customers. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working closely with customers, leading technical projects, and continuously developing their technical expertise.

About the Role

As a Product Consultant, you will act as the technical lead across a variety of customer-facing assignments—from pre-sales demonstrations and proof-of-concept work to solution design, implementation, and ongoing support. You’ll play a key part in shaping and enhancing cutting-edge AI-enabled IT asset management and cloud cost optimisation products, while helping customers get maximum value from their investments.

You’ll be supported by a comprehensive learning and development programme designed to help you become a subject-matter expert across the full product suite, as well as contribute directly to the evolution of future product strategy.

Key Responsibilities



Deliver pre-sales activities including product demonstrations, PoCs and proposal support.

*

Lead the technical delivery of solutions from assessment and design through to implementation, training, handover and post-deployment support.

*

Support project management, service delivery and sales teams with technical insight and guidance.

*

Provide Microsoft Licensing expertise, including ELPs and SAM Maturity Assessments (while not a dedicated SAM consultant role, solid licensing knowledge is essential).

*

Advise customers on deployment requirements and best practices.

*

Manage multiple customer assignments simultaneously, ensuring delivery within agreed timescales and budgets.

*

Identify risks or issues and escalate appropriately to ensure timely resolution.

*

Develop deep product expertise and support the creation of best practices, documentation, knowledge base content, testing activities and continuous improvements.

Essential Skills & Experience

*

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Technical Support or Technical Engineer role.

*

Experience working within enterprise-level environments.

*

Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the confidence to lead customer discussions and deliver presentations.

*

Proven experience delivering product demos and PoCs.

*

Ability to translate complex technical concepts into meaningful business value.

*

Strong stakeholder engagement and influencing capability.

*

High attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.

*

Proactive, accountable, and comfortable owning deliverables.

*

Excellent problem-solving and consultative approach.

*

Solid understanding of complex IT infrastructures.

*

Strong knowledge of at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP or OCI) and cloud cost management/FinOps practices.

*

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Licensing (M365, ELPs, SAM maturity assessments).

*

Good understanding of IT security principles.

*

Knowledge of server architecture, virtualisation technologies, and AI tools/techniques.

*

Basic understanding of networking devices and principles.

*

Basic knowledge of Active Directory (Group Policies, OUs) and SQL Management Studio.

Desirable Skills

*

SQL query experience.

*

Scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash or Python).

*

Experience working within a software development environment.

*

Background in software delivery or project-based services across multiple clients.

*

Experience deploying or supporting ITAM, SAM or FinOps solutions.

*

Awareness of Apple Mac, Linux and Unix operating systems.

Success in this role means delivering high-quality technical implementations, establishing trusted long-term relationships with customers, and playing an active part in the continued development and enhancement of the product suite. The role offers clear pathways into senior consultancy, product specialist or leadership positions within the technical services function.

Excellent Benefits

Salary is £60,000 - £80,000 - negotiable and DOE

On-site - 5 days a week - Warrington
