What you will do
  • Assist qualified staff in the assessment, planning, and implementation of patient rehabilitation care
  • Deliver Physiotherapy services to residents in liaison with the Head of Therapies
  • Provide professional leadership in all aspects of Physiotherapy, adhering to clinical governance standards
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary Neuro care team
  • Conduct physiotherapy assessments and treatments for complex neurological conditions
  • Develop and evaluate individualised treatment and rehabilitation plans in collaboration with other agencies
  • Utilise effective clinical reasoning skills and evidence-based practices to create care plans
  • Implement high-standard clinical care prioritised through clinical judgement
  • Select and apply various assessment tools to ensure efficient treatment
  • Collect and analyse clinical audit data and utilise relevant outcome measures
  • Perform clinical risk assessments and complete risk management plans
  • Source specialist equipment for residents with complex physical needs
To be successful in this role, you will need
  • A Physiotherapy degree
  • Registration with the HCPC
  • At least 4 years post-qualification experience
  • Current knowledge of evidence-based practices in Physiotherapy
  • Understanding of regulatory frameworks and body inspection processes
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development

Both centres provide 24-hour specialist nursing and therapy services for individuals with long-term neurological conditions, brain injuries, or spinal injuries.
