An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Band 5 Physiotherapist to join the inpatient neuro rehabilitation team at Walkergate Park on a 6-month temporary contract.

Walkergate Park is a Level 1 specialist neurorehabilitation centre providing multidisciplinary rehabilitation for people with complex neurological conditions, including traumatic brain injury and stroke. The successful candidate will work within a supportive MDT, delivering specialist physiotherapy assessment and rehabilitation, and contributing to individualised treatment plans in collaboration with patients, families, and colleagues.

To be responsible for the assessment and management and physiotherapy service provision for service users who have a variety of physiotherapy needs, diverse presentations and a range of neurological conditions.

To manage and provide on-going assessment and treatment using evidence based practice.

The post holder will work as a member of the multi-disciplinary team ensuring that high quality, individualised care is delivered and that this maximises independence and promotes recovery and wellbeing.

To contribute to physiotherapy student education.

• Recognised Physiotherapy degree qualification or equivalent
  
• Registered with HCPC (if not yet qualified HCPC reg would be a condition before starting the job)
  
• Member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy
