We offer senior clinical and leadership roles, structured junior rotations, professional development programs, teaching opportunities and strong university partnerships.The PositionWe are seeking an experienced Grade 3 Critical Care Physiotherapist to provide clinical and professional leadership within the Cardiorespiratory stream.This senior role combines advanced clinical practice with service development and staff leadership. The successful applicant will lead the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based physiotherapy services across:* Level 3 Intensive Care Unit* Cardiothoracic surgery* Complex major abdominal surgery* Acute surgical wards* Preoperative surgical clinicsThe position is primarily based at Malvern, with occasional support provided to the acute team at Brighton.Key Responsibilities* Deliver advanced physiotherapy care in ICU, surgical wards and preoperative clinics* Provide leadership of the Cardiorespiratory physiotherapy stream* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, high-quality patient care* Lead quality improvement initiatives and service development* Supervise Grade 1 and 2 physiotherapists and university students* Contribute to staff performance management and professional development## About YouYou are a dynamic senior physiotherapist with strong cardiorespiratory expertise, particularly in ICU and major surgical services.You will have:* A Physiotherapy degree and current AHPRA registration* Significant experience in ICU and surgical physiotherapy* Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder engagement skills* Confidence in mentoring, performance management and service developmentDesirable:* Postgraduate qualification (or working towards) in a relevant area* Experience in preoperative surgical clinicsTo view the full position position description clickEnquiries should be directed to: Ben Gehrke - Head of Physiotherapy on 03 9508 8746 Cabrini Health acknowledges the importance of creating a work environment that is welcoming, safe, equitable and inclusive for people of all backgrounds and abilities.
