Job Description

Do you want to help people get back to being independent following a period of illness or injury? If you are a qualified physiotherapist, then this could be the role you are looking for. The Joint Community Rehabilitation Service (JCR) is an integrated countywide domiciliary service delivered by Adult Social Care (ASC) and East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust (ESHT). We have recently been Highly Commended at the Great British Care Awards.


The role of a physiotherapist in JCR is to collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support clients within their homes. You will assess the client’s current function/needs and create and implement a tailored treatment plan to enable clients to regain independence and continue to live safely at home. This is a really rewarding role allowing you to see first hand the positive impact your role is having in getting people back to being independent and remaining at home.


We Are Looking For Candidates Who

  • Are qualified Physiotherapists with a HCPC registration.
  • Have the ability to organise, prioritise and delegate workload.
  • Are able to respond positively to change and to implement change initiatives.
  • Are motivated to work flexibly within an inter-professional framework.
  • Have the ability to meet the travel requirements of the role.
