Hours: 37.5 hrs/ Week. Monday- Friday, with rota weekend cover (roughly 1 in 6)

Salary: Dependent on Experience

Position Overview:

Remedy Health and Performance is in search of a skilled and dedicated Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team. As a Remedy physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in designing and implementing rehabilitation programs, addressing injuries, and facilitating the recovery process for both sports professionals and high performing individuals. We are looking for a candidate with a strong background in sports rehabilitation, a passion for helping individuals achieve their peak physical condition, and the ability to work with a diverse clientele.


Responsibilities:

  1. Assessment and Evaluation: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify injuries, limitations, and movement dysfunctions among clients, considering their unique needs and goals.
  2. Rehabilitation Planning: Design and implement individualised rehabilitation programs that incorporate evidence-based practices to address injuries, improve function, and enhance performance.
  3. Manual Therapy: Administer a range of hands-on techniques and manual therapies to promote healing, reduce pain, and restore mobility.
  4. Exercise Prescription: Develop and prescribe targeted therapeutic exercises to improve strength, flexibility, and coordination, tailored to each client's specific condition.
  5. Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other health and performance professionals within the Remedy team, including physiotherapists, sports therapists, and S&C coaches to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to client care.
  6. Education and Guidance: Provide clients with education on injury prevention, self-care strategies, and lifestyle modifications to support their rehabilitation and long-term well-being.
  7. Monitoring Progress: Regularly assess and adjust rehabilitation plans based on client progress, ensuring optimal recovery and performance outcomes.
  8. Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress to ensure continuity of care.


Qualifications and Requirements:

  1. Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physiotherapy. Desirable: Master's degree.
  2. HCPC registered and right to work in the UK.
  3. At least 5 years experience working within a professional sport setting
  4. Strong knowledge of sports injuries, biomechanics, and evidence-based rehabilitation techniques.
  5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with diverse clients.
  6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  7. Exceptional organisational and time-management skills.
  8. Willingness to travel with clients.
