Are you a driven and motivated Physiotherapist looking to join an exciting Pelvic Health team?


We are able to offer a full time Pelvic Health post in Bridgwater Community Hospital, working with an established Pelvic Health team that works across the whole of Somerset.


This post would suit a band 5 with a minimum of 18 months MSK experience looking to progress into a pelvic health role or an experienced band 6 with previous Pelvic Health experience, who may be looking for a change of location or progression.


You will work with our Band 7 pelvic health specialists who offer mentoring and supervision. We receive referrals from GPs, physiotherapists, maternity service and other secondary care providers.


We value time to reflect, with a strong emphasis on learning, clinical supervision, and clinical development. We support our colleague development through flexible clinical support, comprehensive in-service training program and protected SPA time.


Main duties of the job

To provide a high standard of therapy to pelvic health outpatients.


To provide specialist advice regarding the pelvic health assessment, diagnosis and treatment for patients referred to the service.


To develop or maintain established expertise in the management of pelvic health conditions and deliver a comprehensive service to the localities within Somerset Foundation Trust and to provide an advisory service to patients, other physiotherapists, other healthcare professionals and the primary healthcare team including GPs.
