Your Role

Are you passionate about the future of smart infrastructure? We're looking for an innovative OT Framework IIoT Architect to help shape the next generation of water infrastructure through cutting‑edge Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) solutions. This is a key role in our infrastructure enhancement programme, where you'll design and implement scalable, secure, and sustainable IIoT systems that drive operational efficiency and environmental resilience.


Responsibilities

  • Design and maintain a future‑ready IIoT architecture aligned with business goals and AMP8 objectives
  • Develop secure, scalable IIoT solutions that integrate with OT systems like SCADA, PLCs, and industrial networks
  • Create technical specifications and design documentation for IIoT implementations
  • Ensure IIoT solutions support climate resilience and ecological sustainability
  • Lead proof‑of‑concept and pilot projects for new IIoT technologies

Your Profile

  • 8+ years of experience in IT/OT systems, with 5+ years focused on IIoT architecture and implementation
  • Strong knowledge of IIoT technologies, protocols (e.g., MQTT, LoRaWAN), and edge computing
  • Experience with cloud platforms and services for IIoT data management
  • Familiarity with OT systems (SCADA, PLCs, industrial networks)
  • Experience with data analytics and machine learning in IIoT contexts
  • Knowledge of security standards (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST SP 800‑82)
