Occupational Therapy or Physiotherapy Team Lead- Front Door Team

SASHis expanding its Frailty and Same Day Emergency Care (SDEC) service, creating exciting new therapy opportunities within our established Front Door Therapy Team.


We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and motivated Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist to join us as a Band 7 Team Lead. You will work closely with our existing Team Leads and Clinical Specialists to deliver high-quality, person-centred care and to help shape the development of the Front Door Therapy Services across a range of areas including:



  • Emergency Department
  • Acute Medical Unit
  • Surgical Assessment Unit
  • Ambulatory Emergency Care
  • Clinical Decisions Unit
  • Same Day Emergency Care Unit

We provide acute and complex services and a range of outpatient, diagnostic services whilst Crawley Hospital and Horsham in West Sussex and Caterham Dene Hospital and Oxted Health Centre in Surrey provide less complex planned services. Criteria

  • Evidence of a good standard of written English appropriate to the role
  • A complete and accurate application
  • Suitability for role evidenced in supporting statement
  • Evidence of broad range of acute clinical experience including working at senior level
  • Meet the essential education/qualifications required for the role including CPD in specialist area
  • Hold the necessary mandatory professional/clinical registration
  • Evidence of the Trust values and behaviours
  • Evidence of appropriate skills for the role (supervision, management, service improvement etc)
