Garage 59 is a championship-winning racing team but it is also much more than that. Alongside our race programmes, we manage and maintain an extraordinary collection of exclusive road and race vehicles, from iconic Formula 1 cars to rare supercars and breathtaking bespoke creations. In all of our endeavours, we are dedicated to performance, precision, and automotive excellence at the very highest level.


We have entered a new, exciting phase of growth and expansion, scaling up our operations and technical capabilities to meet increasing demand and prepare for future race and private event programmes. Centred on our state-of-the-art Technical Centre in Brackley, in the heart of the UK\'s Motorsport Valley, but also at our North American base on the East Coast of the US, we are building a team that reflects our ambitions.


We are now looking for people with a winning mindset and passion for technical excellence to help us shape the next chapter of Garage 59.


Garage 59 have several No.1 Technician vacancies opening up within its expanding vehicle collection department as well as the race team. These roles require skill sets from current F1 and hypercar technicians, as well as experienced GT3 race technicians. You’ll be working across a diverse fleet of high-performance vehicles, including modern and historic Formula 1 cars, cutting-edge hypercars, and GT3 race cars.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead build, setup, and maintenance of hybrid high-performance vehicles combining Hypercar and F1 technologies for private testing, development, and showcase events.
  • Manage complex systems including hybrid power units, active aero, advanced braking systems, and race-grade telemetry.
  • Collaborate with OEM engineers, technical partners, and internal R&D teams to integrate upgrades and ensure peak performance.
  • Oversee trackside operations including setup, run plans, fault diagnosis, and performance tuning.
  • Ensure flawless presentation and reliability of vehicles for ultra-high-net-worth clients and confidential development programs.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with hypercars, WEC, or F1 platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage bespoke vehicle setups.
  • Comfortable working in high-pressure, client-facing environments.
  • Willingness to travel globally and adapt to dynamic schedules. Must have the right to work in the UK.
