About the Role

We're seeking an experienced

Mobile PTO Technician

to join our team based in

Basingstoke , providing professional installation, maintenance, and repair services for Power Take-Off (PTO) systems across a wide range of vehicles and equipment. This is a mobile position requiring travel to customer sites throughout the region, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities

Install, service, and repair PTO systems on commercial and specialist vehicles.

Diagnose and rectify hydraulic and mechanical faults efficiently.

Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and system testing.

Provide technical advice and support to customers on-site.

Complete accurate job sheets, service reports, and timesheets.

Maintain company tools, van stock, and equipment in good working order.

Follow all company health, safety, and quality procedures.

Skills and Experience Required

Proven experience working with PTO systems, hydraulics, and vehicle installations.

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills.

Full UK driving licence (essential).

Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Relevant engineering or mechanical qualification (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).

What We Offer

Competitive salary: £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience).

40-hour working week, Monday to Friday.
