Hi, I’m Iain. I started Addison Tyres on my own supported by my wife Sarah back in 2020. We’ve since grown the business from a one man tyre fitting business to a 3 (soon to be 4) bay garage that covers all aspects of service and repair. We are looking for someone to join our current team of 7 that can help us push forward and raise the standard for independent garages in the area.

About the Role

We are looking to recruit a qualified technician that takes pride in their work and is open to continual training to stay in touch with modern vehicle evolution.

We pride ourselves on our customer service and the quality of our work. As such we do expect high standards from our techs but we will provide the training, tools and a high standard of parts to make those standards easily attainable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs

  • Conduct MOT testing to the highest standards (MOT Qualification not necessary, training available)

  • Support apprentices where required, leading by example and promoting best practices

  • Maintain high housekeeping standards

    What We’re Looking For

  • NVQ Level qualification in Motor Vehicle Technology (IMI or City & Guilds)

  • MOT Tester qualification (desired but not essential)

  • F gas qualification (desired but not essential)

  • EV/Hybrid training (desired but not essential)

  • A desire to continually learn and progress
