  • Support site compliance for UK legislation and Raytheon standards and procedures.* A working knowledge of asset protection and legislation to meet safety, insurance and Raytheon expectations.* Execution of both planed and reactive maintenance tasks.* Installation, fault finding, repair and maintenance of all site mechanical services, plant and equipment.* Maintain building services to include HVAC, and BMS systems* Work as part of the Glenrothes Facilities team, with high collaboration with site EHS and functional teams.* Ability to respond to day to day activities in support of operational and customer needs.* Support site and department “On Call” process* Accountable for the completion of standard or non-standard tasks, within the scope of the function* Delivers activities to support operational objectives for their role.* Makes decisions within parameters set by manager, using job/specialist experience.* Interacts with client or users around specific work efforts and deliverables.* Supports delivery of Health and Safety policy and standardsThe required candidate should have a background in Facilities/Engineering or in a site support maintenance related role. Their skills should cover the following disciplines and be academically qualified and experienced in mechanical engineering and or plumbing engineering/activities.* Achieved a recognised qualification in Mechanical Engineering and or Plumbing activities to City & Guilds or SVQ standards.* Experience in a similar role.* Working knowledge of one functional area through job experience & training in engineering/manufacturing industry.* Have a sound working knowledge of all UK facilities biased statute.* Knowledge of Mechanical plant and equipment maintenance and minor installation activities.* Knowledge of asset protection sprinkler systems* Knowledge of building management systems* Knowledge of HVAC systems.* Water hygiene knowledge and experience* Experience of Microsoft packages.* Flexible in working time ( occasional weekend or out of hours )* Fork lift truck trained beneficial but not essential* Knowledge of Liquid nitrogen systems beneficial but not essential* Planning & Organising* Achieving and Doing* Building Relationships* Delivery through People* Business Awareness* Customer Focus* Contributing to Continuous Improvement* Dealing with Change* Strong communication skills* Works well under pressure* Has eye for accuracy and detail* Competitive salaries.* 25 days holiday + statutory public holidays, plus opportunity to buy and sell up to 5 days (37hr)* Contributory Pension Scheme (up to 10.5% company contribution)* Company bonus scheme (discretionary).* 6 times salary ‘Life Assurance’ with pension.* Flexible Benefits scheme with extensive salary sacrifice schemes, including Health Cashplan, Dental, and Cycle to Work amongst others.* Enhanced sick pay.* Enhanced family friendly policies including enhanced maternity, paternity & shared parental leave* 37hr working week, although hours may vary depending on role, job requirement or site-specific arrangements.* Remote, hybrid and site based working opportunities, dependant on your needs and the requirements of the role.* A grownup flexible working culture that is output, not time spent at desk, focussed.
