Salary: £38,000 - £40,000 + Shift Premium + Training + Qualification Support

Location: Bedford (Commutable from: Milton Keynes, Ampthill, Letchworth Garden City, Hitchin, Stevenage, Biggleswade, Luton, Leighton Buzzard, St Neots, Sandy, Cranfield)

Role

This is an excellent opportunity to join a respected organisation that actively invests in its people through structured training programmes and ongoing support. The company has an established reputation and a dedicated workforce. Due to continued growth, they are now looking to expand their Facilities team with the addition of a skilled Technician. In this role, you will be responsible for carrying out maintenance and fault-finding across a broad range of plant equipment. Comprehensive training will be provided to build expertise in specialist systems and technologies. This position would suit an individual with Mechanical Engineering qualifications and experience who is looking to further their technical skills through industry-leading training and career progression opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Mechanical Facilities Technician
  • 6-week rotating shift pattern working earlies, lates and nights (with shift premium)
  • Structured internal and external training
  • Maintain and fault-find across a broad range of plant equipment; participate in training to build expertise in specialist systems and technologies
The Candidate
  • Recognised Mechanical Engineering qualifications
  • Previous Mechanical Engineering experience
  • Keen to develop electrical skills and gain further industry qualifications
