About the Role

We're looking for a skilled Mechanical Technician to become an integral part of our production team. In this hands-on role, you'll be assembling complex machinery and equipment with precision, working from detailed engineering drawings and procedures. This is a great opportunity to put your technical expertise into practice and contribute to the build of high-quality, industry-leading products.


What You'll Be Doing

  • Building prototype and production machinery to exacting engineering standards.
  • Recording and reporting any modifications using the correct documentation.
  • Liaising with production control when kits or parts are incomplete.
  • Carrying out modifications to parts using drills, lathes, and mills.
  • Producing simple components such as brackets, mounting plates, and tooling when needed.
  • Ensuring all work meets the highest quality and technical standards.
  • Working closely with senior technicians and team leaders to solve build challenges.

What We're Looking For

Essential:



  • Level 3 qualification in Mechanical Engineering or Manufacturing.
  • At least 3 years' hands-on mechanical fitting/assembly experience.
  • Confident using manual machine and hand tools.
  • Able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings.

Desirable:



  • Experience with manual lathes and milling machines.
  • Background in a highly regulated or defence-related workshop environment.

Security Clearance

Due to the nature of our work, you must be eligible to obtain UK Security Clearance. This means proof of identity, right to work in the UK, full employment history, and at least five years of continuous UK residency will be required.
