Mechanical Supervisor – Building Services Contractor

Location: London projects (Herts/Essex border-based contractor)

Salary: Competitive + Travel

Type: Permanent or Contract


We’re supporting a respected mechanical building services contractor who deliver major commercial projects across London. They’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee installations and lead site teams on high-profile schemes.


The Role

You’ll take responsibility for the day-to-day supervision of mechanical works, ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to specification. Working closely with engineers, subcontractors, and project managers, you’ll maintain progress and uphold quality on site.


Responsibilities include:

  • Supervising mechanical teams and subcontractors
  • Overseeing HVAC, plumbing, and public health installations
  • Ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and H&S standards
  • Conducting quality checks and progress reporting
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, and other trades to resolve site issues


About You

  • Experienced Mechanical Supervisor or Foreman within building services
  • Strong technical knowledge of HVAC and public health systems
  • SMSTS/SSSTS, CSCS, and relevant H&S qualifications preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
