We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Quantity Surveyor to join our client's growing team within the heating and renewables sector. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a company at the forefront of renewable energy innovation. With a strong track record of delivering Ground Source & Air Source heat technology projects across various sectors - including domestic, commercial, rural, and environmentally sensitive installations - the company is committed to advancing sustainable energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage cost control and financial aspects of projects from inception to completion, ensuring budgets are adhered to and profitability is maintained.
  • Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate contracts while identifying and mitigating risks.
  • Provide commercial support to project delivery teams, overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
  • Identify opportunities for cost efficiencies and process improvements in project delivery.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, and stakeholders.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations to ensure the company remains competitive in the renewables market.
  • Support business development strategies, using commercial insights to drive growth and project success.
About You
  • Experience in Quantity Surveying, ideally within the renewables, infrastructure, or construction sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of contract management, cost control, and project financials.
  • Experience with ground source heat technology or similar renewable energy systems is advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively under pressure.
  • A self-motivated professional with a collaborative approach and a passion for sustainability.
