As we continue to grow, we are seeking a proactive and driven Mechanical Project Manager to join our M&E division to deliver projects to completion - ensuring they are on time, on budget and to the satisfaction of all parties, exceeding expectations wherever possible. Key Responsibilities

  • Managing the project phase from design to completion, liaising with contractors, consultants and sub-contractors to ensure successful project delivery
  • Ensuring BJF Group and the client's SSOW, H&S policy and procedures are in place and followed (recording accidents/near misses and reported in accordance with BJF Group and clients reporting system)
  • Supporting M&E division with incidental works and other new works streams
  • Work with other members of the contract/Division/Business to ensure the collaborative development of the business, effective team working, and support to colleagues
  • Responsible for ensuring all their projects meet the pricing Key Performance Indicators issued by the client
  • Liaison with client representatives and customer to ensure specification of works is correct and client user is updated throughout works
  • Maximise opportunities to use internal supply chain for project delivery

Qualifications

  • Hold an industry recognised qualification (NVQ or equivalent) in Mechanical trade
  • Demonstratable experience of current industry regulations and legislation
  • Hold an industry recognised H&S management qualification (IOSH or SMSTS)
  • Experienced in M&E full-lifecycle project delivery
  • Managerial experience at Supervisor level within a technical background is essential
