Mechanical Maintenance Engineer

Salary: £37,000 to £40,000 + Pension + Benefits

Days – Monday to Friday

Location: Leamington Spa

My client is a leading in the development of specialist high performance packaging solutions and is extremely well established, with over 30 years of manufacturing experience. This highly respected manufacturer is looking to expand its engineering capacity and is adding to the engineering knowledge already within their current team. The group supplies products into a wide range of markets with a reputation for high product quality and reliability.

The Role

My client is looking for a mechanical maintenance engineer who will perform day-to-day equipment maintenance, preventive maintenance, electrical maintenance, and general maintenance and repair. The role involves troubleshooting to ensure machinery operates efficiently to meet production needs. Responsibilities Perform day-to-day maintenance on manufacturing equipment Conduct preventive maintenance to minimise downtime. Maintenance and diagnostics Repair and troubleshoot mechanical issues promptly Collaborate with production teams to support manufacturing and maintenance engineering skills. Experience in preventive maintenance and maintenance & repair Proficiency in electrical maintenance Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues quickly and efficiently, ideally coming from packaging manufacturing, though not essential, and experience with their equipment but can come from any manufacturing background. Experience with printing and conveyors. There is huge scope and variety on offer, so the successful candidate will be in line to broaden their skills considerably.
