A leading, established and highly successful provider of mechanical and electrical installation services to commercial and industrial buildings seek the solid appointment of an experienced Mechanical Foreman / Supervisor from an M&E / Building Services mechanical installation background to join their exciting planned growth and continued success.

Candidates sought must be able to commute to or are based in or near to KETTERING.

Typical projects may include new build data centres, industrial sheds, distribution centres, manufacturing centres, hotels and leisure, automotive showrooms etc.

Responsibilities
  • You will be one of the leading tradespeople present on site where you will coordinate the activities of the personnel within your team.
  • It will be your responsibility to ensure that all mechanical services installation work is delivered safely on site and with flawless quality.
  • Reporting to Site Managers and Project Managers, you will ensure that the people under your control are kept busy and all productivity targets are met.
  • Your focus and priority will always be Safety, Quality, Productivity and Scheduling.
  • While championing safety within your crew, you will check equipment planned for use is safe and fit for purpose, ensure safety records are in date for each crew member and ensure any required training is complete or planned before starting on site.
  • Regular responsibilities include weekly toolbox talks with the support of the safety advisor, ordering day to day materials and managing plant and equipment.
Qualifications
  • Candidates highly sought after are those naturally from an M&E / Building Services background with direct working experience as a Mechanical Foreman / Mechanical Supervisor in the delivery of mechanical installations and mechanical services.
  • You will be an organised and approachable leader with real experience behind you and proud of your craft.
