Mechanical Fitting role

Role –Mechanical Fitter position
Location –Thetford, Norfolk
Working hours – Full time hours – Day shift
Capacity of role – Temporary to Permanent position
Rate of pay – Depending on experience up to £14.50 per hour

Our client is looking for a mechanical fitter to join their busy workshop based team.
Applicants will have worked in a similar position previously and will be mechanically minded.

Main duties include –
 Building , installing and repairing mechanical sub assembly frames as per company specifications
 Using measuring instruments to identify components
 Reading engineering drawings to ensure that company specifications are met
 Inspecting finished product range to ensure they meet and follow company product range
 Working to and achieving daily targets of work and weekly work plans.

Candidate attributes –
 Mechanically minded and will have worked in a similar position previously
 Ability to read engineering based drawings
 Good attention to detail skills and communication skills.
 Previous experience working with hand and power tools
