A multi-skilled assembler/fitter is required by a long-established and respected engineering manufacturing company. This interesting role is to work on various types of assembly and fitting to a high standard for equipment used in the food processing industry.

Mechanical Fitter - Job Responsibilities:

• Assemble, install, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, equipment, and machinery.
• Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
• Perform inspections to identify any faults or malfunctions and troubleshoot issues.
• Conduct scheduled maintenance tasks and ensure machinery operates efficiently.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments for work.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Adhere to safety regulations and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Mechanical Fitter - Essential Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in mechanical assembly and repair techniques.
• Ability to work with precision and attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations in a manufacturing environment.
