Are you a Mechanical Fitter with experience in the wastewater industry, looking to join a growing specialist delivering projects across the water sector that provide training for your PASMA, IPAF, and electrical qualifications?

Do you enjoy hands-on installation, maintenance and fault-finding work on pumps, pipework, and mechanical systems, while contributing to essential infrastructure that supports sustainable water services?

This is an excellent opportunity for a Mechanical Fitter who enjoys varied site work, problem-solving and collaborating with electrical teams to improve and maintain critical water infrastructure.

The Role:

  • Deliver mechanical installation, servicing, repair, and maintenance activities across water industry sites
  • Assemble, install, test and maintain mechanical equipment and fixtures using hand and power tools
  • Carry out mechanical works including pump replacements, screen installations, pipework installation, alignments, and valve fault finding
  • Perform planned preventative maintenance on pumping systems and associated assets
  • Test mechanical systems using diagnostic tools such as vibration sensors and infrared cameras
  • Inspect systems to identify hazards, defects and required repairs

The Person:

  • Experience in a field based, mechanical fitter / engineer role
  • Experience in the water / wastewater industry
  • Full UK Driving License
