Gr8 Connect are recruitingfor an experienced Mechanical Fitter for one of our prestige clients based in Colnbrook!
Duties and Job Spec
Hydraulic and High Pressure Jetting Systems
Possess in-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, including pumps, hoses, and control mechanisms.
Specialise in maintaining and troubleshooting high-pressure jetting systems used in drain and sewer cleaning operations.
Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure the optimal performance of hydraulic and jetting equipment.
Vehicle Maintenance
Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of the company's fleet of vehicles, with a particular emphasis on hydraulic components.
Diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic and high-pressure jetting system issues to ensure timely and effective repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance tasks on hydraulic systems to maximise reliability.
Repair and Troubleshooting
Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergencies involving hydraulic and jetting systems, providing on-site repairs to minimise downtime.
Utilise diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and rectify technical issues related to high-pressure equipment.
Collaborate with the wider team to analyse recurring problems and implement preventive measures.
Legislation and Compliance
Stay up-to-date with relevant legislation and industry standards related to hydraulic systems and high-pressure jetting operations.
Ensure all maintenance and repair activities comply with health and safety regulations, environmental standards, and industry best practices.
Implement and promote safe working practices among the team in accordance with legal requirements.
Be aware of all policies and your responsibilities towards them.
