Mechanical Fitter – Edinburgh Area

£35,000 + Overtime (OTE £40k+) + Healthcare + Progression + Training + Benefits Package

Do you have experience with power transmission systems, want a competitive benefits package, and the opportunity to join a growing engineering specialist?

The company is a well-established industrial service provider that supports major clients across the utilities, manufacturing, and heavy engineering sectors. Due to recent contract wins and facility investment, they are looking to increase their workshop capacity. In return, they offer a comprehensive benefits suite including Private Medical, an enhanced pension scheme, and generous holiday entitlements.

The role involves the full strip-down, inspection, and rebuild of industrial machinery and rotating components, working on a standard Monday to Friday dayshift schedule with the stability of a permanent position.

Role

  • Mechanical Fitter
  • Disassembly and reassembly of industrial drive units and mechanical components
  • Monday to Friday - Full Time

Candidate Requirements

  • Practical experience with industrial gearboxes or rotating equipment
  • Mechanical engineering background
