Service Area: Service Delivery


Hours of Work: 37 Per week


What you will be doing:

As a Mechanical fitter you will be working with the saltwater services team to support the repair, maintenance and operation of assets used for the movement and docking of vessels.



  • Planned maintenance, overhaul, repair, installation and testing of mechanical equipment, machinery and systems
  • Carry out basic mechanical fault finding and rectification
  • Working in Confined Spaces and underground installations

This role includes on-call rotas and overtime to support operational demands


About you:

  • Able to read and understand technical / design drawings and maintenance manuals for the maintenance and repair of assets
  • Capable of manufacturing components using workshop machinery
  • Experience in the repair, maintenance, installation, testing, operation, and setting to work on a wide range of heavy industrial saltwater equipment and systems
  • Competent in carrying out mechanical fault finding and rectification
  • Able to work at heights and in deep confined spaces
