About the Company

We are a long-established engineering business, designing and manufacturing innovative solutions for the water, utilities, and process industries. With a strong focus on quality, safety, and customer service, we are looking for skilled and motivated Mechanical Fitters to join our growing team.


As a Mechanical Fitter, you will be responsible for the assembly, installation, and maintenance of mechanical systems and equipment. This role requires nationwide travel, with all hours paid door-to-door, plus excellent overtime opportunities to boost your earnings. Our team of Mechanical Fitters are key to delivering successful projects across the UK.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly, installation, service, and maintenance of mechanical equipment and systems.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • Carrying out mechanical fitting, pipework installation, and fabrication tasks.
  • Undertaking fault-finding, diagnostics, and repairs as required.
  • Supporting site-based installation and commissioning activities across the UK.
  • Completing job documentation, site reports, and compliance records.
  • Adhering to Health & Safety regulations and company standards.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter, Mechanical Assembler, or similar.
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant mechanical discipline.
  • Experience with pumps, valves, pipework, and general mechanical assemblies.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving Licence (nationwide travel required).
