We’re supporting a leading aerospace manufacturer with ongoing projects in the rotary sector and are seeking skilled Sheet Metal Workers and Mechanical Fitters to join their team on a contract basis.

The Role:

You’ll be responsible for the assembly, modification, and repair of aircraft components and structures within a precision engineering environment. Responsibilities include:

• Fabrication, fitting, and assembly of aircraft parts and structures.
• Interpreting detailed engineering drawings and technical schematics.
• Working to tight tolerances and maintaining the highest quality standards.
• Using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment.
• Collaborating with engineering and quality teams to ensure accuracy and compliance.

What You’ll Need:

• Proven experience as a Sheet Metal Worker or Mechanical Fitter within the aerospace or defence sector.
• Strong understanding of aircraft structures, assemblies, and repair techniques.
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings.
• Experience in production or MRO environments highly desirable.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
