What you’ll do
  • Installing and aligning mechanical equipment with precision and care.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Conducting functional tests and surveys to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Operating workshop machinery and tools specific to mechanical fitting.
  • Troubleshooting mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions.
What you’ll need
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and work instructions.
  • Experience operating workshop machinery used in mechanical fitting.
  • Background in marine engineering, including work on Royal Navy ships, submarines, or large commercial vessels.
  • Indentured apprenticeship in a mechanical discipline
  • Level 3 Mechanical Engineering qualification
Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
