Are you an Experienced Mechanical Fitter within the manufacturing industry? If yes, read on.


My client is one of the worlds leading manufacturers within their industry with a privately owned business, based within commutable distance from Leicester, Coventry, Nuneaton & Rugby. They are currently looking for a skilled Mechanical fitter.


The Role - Mechanical Fitter.

  • Mechanical assembly of industrial exchangers
  • Following the engineering drawings and assembly instructions
  • Quality checking work to a high standard
  • Working independently and as part of a team
  • On-site chemical cleaning for the de-scaling of various types of heat exchangers
  • Site visits to complete Mechanical servicing, refurbishing and cleaning.
  • Day Shifts, Monday - Thursday 07:20-16:30 & Friday 07:20-15:30

Minimum Skills / Experience Required - Mechanical Fitter.

  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter / Mechanical Assembler.
  • MIG Welding experience is desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical engineering drawings
  • Confident using hand tools, power tools and workshop equipment
  • Able to quality check own work
  • Previous chemical cleaning experience is desired
  • Motivated and excellent team player
