Are you an experienced Mechanical Fitter looking for your next opportunity? Join our client's growing team in Newmarket, a forward-thinking company that has recently secured several large projects and is expanding its business.


Responsibilities:


  • Assemble, install, and maintain mechanical components and systems according to engineering drawings and specifications
  • Conduct quality checks to ensure work meets required standards
  • Assist with troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues during assembly
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and efficient working environment
  • Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth project delivery


Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or in a similar mechanical assembly/maintenance role
  • Experience in fabrication and working with steel components
  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and technical manuals
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Relevant qualifications or training in mechanical assembly, fitting, or maintenance would be advantageous
