We are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Field Service Engineer to join one of our growing client based in Gloucester
Key Responsibilities - Mechanical Field Service Engineer
Deliver maintenance services and repairs to pellet mill equipment across farming biomass energy waste and milling environments throughout the UK
Carry out planned maintenance inspections breakdown response and repairs on gearboxes drive shafts hydraulics pumps motors conveyors and associated heavy machinery
Work closely with customers on site to maximise production and minimise downtime
Identify underperforming equipment and capacity limitations and communicate findings to engineering and sales teams
Manage time effectively to meet customer deadlines while working as part of a flexible and dedicated service team
Qualifications & Requirements - Mechanical Field Service Engineer
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance within a heavy industrial environment
Strong understanding of mechanical principles troubleshooting and preventative maintenance techniques
Experience maintaining gearboxes bearings and associated rotating equipment
Engineering based qualification or equivalent overseas qualification
Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel and work away from home

Salary up to £40000 per annum depending on experience + Overtime + Company Benefits
Overtime including call out and weekend work paid at enhanced rates
40 hour working week with early finish on Fridays when depot based
All expenses covered for overnight stays
