I am pleased to present an opportunity for a Mechanical Supervisor based in South Yorkshire to work for prestigious organisation.

This position can be offered both on a temp to perm or permanent basis.

The permanent salary ranges from £32,000 up to £39,000 with great benefits.

Essential Requirements:

* Supervise a team of mechanical maintenance technicians, allocating and prioritising work to ensure tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.

* Oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance activities, maintaining accurate records within the Planon system.

* Provide technical guidance, problem-solving support, and mentoring to team members to ensure high-quality and timely completion of work.

* Ensure all maintenance activities comply with current legislation, technical standards, and health and safety requirements.

* Assist in planning and managing preventative maintenance programmes to meet operational and compliance standards.

* Manage parts and consumables, ensuring appropriate stock levels to support efficient maintenance operations.

* Support coordination of staffing matters including leave, sickness, and performance monitoring to maintain adequate team coverage.

* Carry out diagnostics and mechanical maintenance on systems such as HVAC, compressors, pressure systems, steam generation, and gas installations, including required testing and certification.
