Whether we’re delivering high quality engineering and technical services or programme management, we always deliver the solution that’s right for them.## Your roleYou will work within small to medium sized multidisciplinary teams. To benefit from the collective experience of the team, our clients, and drive innovative thinking, you’ll work in a collaborative and supportive office / site environment for a minimum of half of your working week. You may also be based at client offices or plant sites. You will bring a level of commercial awareness to working within those teams to effectively deliver tasks for multiple workstreams and to deliver to time, quality, and cost.## About you Degree qualified mechanical engineer (or other relevant qualification). Experience in originating and progressing designs from concept through to detailed design, to a given set of requirements and constraints.* Good working knowledge solid mechanics, engineering materials, structural and thermal engineering.* Ability to perform design calculations from first principles.* Proven strong problem solving, organisational and interpersonal skills.* Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills with a proven ability to write accurate, detailed, and concise technical reports.Please flag if you have experience in any of the following (but still apply if you might enjoy gaining that experience too): Providing innovative design solutions to meet challenging requirements, drawing from a mix of industry experience and the ability to produce novel designs.* Experience in working with design codes such as ASME BPVC Section III, RCC-M, BS EN 13480, BS EN13445.* Understanding of systems engineering principles and the ability to apply V&V techniques across different phases of product development.* Supervising less-experienced engineers and students, providing them with challenging projects, monitoring their progress and providing constructive feedback.* Or if you are chartered with a relevant professional institute (or approaching application for registration).## Reward & benefitsExplore the rewards and benefits that help you thrive – at every stage of your life and your career.
