Witney, Oxfordshire (Commutable from: Oxford, Faringdon, Abingdon, Didcot, Swindon, Wantage, Bicester and surrounding areas)


This role is a workshop-based position offering on the job training, progression opportunities and overtime to maximise earnings. The company manufactures brand new and future-focused systems for the Aerospace and Automotive sectors. Recent investment has enabled new machinery and improved facilities.


This is a Monday-Friday position based at the company’s large depot, assembling bespoke Mechanical and Hydraulic equipment.


Ideal for a Fitter, Assembler or Technician seeking a stable role in a modern working environment with a close-knit workforce.


Responsibilities

  • Assemble, test and build Mechanical and Hydraulic equipment.
  • Work in a workshop-based environment on machinery suitable for HGV, Plant or Vehicles.
  • Operate in a role that may involve working with bespoke systems for aerospace and automotive sectors.
  • Contribute to a team focused on quality and on-time delivery.

Working Hours & Location

  • Monday - Friday (40 hours – early finish Fridays).
  • Location: Witney, Oxfordshire.
  • Commutable from: Oxford, Faringdon, Abingdon, Didcot, Swindon, Wantage, Bicester and surrounding areas.

Qualifications

  • Mechanical experience.
  • Fitter, Assembler, Engineer, or Technician background.
  • Commutable to Witney.

This is a manufacturing role with on-site training and the opportunity to progress into a Multi-Skilled Engineer.
