Our dedicated 20,000 employees optimize the branch, improve operational efficiency and maximize self-service availability for financial institutions and retailers across the globe.Job Title: Mechanical Design EngineerLocation: DundeeAn exciting opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join our Engineering department at NCR Atleos in Dundee.Responsibilities:* Develop innovative solutions from sketch to concept build.* An interest in design for sustainability.* Evaluate different technologies and provide recommendations with backup analysis* Work on mechanical development activities, provide estimates, manufacturing options etc.* An interest in the design of mechanisms would be advantageous.* Working with tooling suppliers and parts manufacture* Deliver cost effective designs to specification and engineering standards* Supplier engagement and change management* Design validation via design reviews, stress analysis, assembly tolerances, testing and problem correction CLCAExperience:* A Degree in Mechanical Engineering (Hons 2:1 or better preferred).* Strong understanding of Mechanical design principles and technologies.* Technology knowledge in the areas of: + Solids modelling using 3D CAD systems (Creo or Solidworks preferred) + Design of Experiments, FMEA.* Clearly understand documentation and the ability to work solely on problems as well as within a team environment* Must be willing to work to and set high work standards and be a good communicator* Ability to work on several projects simultaneously* Work with Suppliers throughout project lifecycle#LI-AG#LI-HybridOffers of employment are conditional upon passage of screening criteria applicable to the job.EEO Statement NCR Atleos is an equal-opportunity employer.
