As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll be at the heart of innovation, attending dynamic technical meetings to discuss core engine configurations and customer contracts. Your expertise will ensure that specifications are flawlessly integrated into our systems. You’ll collaborate with engineering design groups, offering valuable insights on configuration and definition topics. Your role will be pivotal in updating systems to maintain visibility of core configurations within the production build plan.


How You’ll Make an Impact:


· Quality Excellence: Be a key contributor to a team dedicated to maintaining the highest quality standards in engine configuration, definition drawings, and documentation within our company systems.

· Customer Focus: Play a crucial role in supporting the core engine configuration for product baselines and their implementation in customer contracts.

· Change Management: Maintain database and registers of changes to the core engine and manage interactions seamlessly.

· Visibility Enhancement: Update systems to provide business visibility of core engine configurations in the production build plan.

· Drafting Expertise: Engage in drawing drafting activities, ensuring alignment with expected standards and company processes.

· Networking: Develop a robust network within operational and engineering organizations to share best practices in product definition.

· Continuous Improvement: Support process development and continual improvement projects, driving innovation and efficiency.

· Problem solving: work with multi-functional teams to ensure structured approaches to considering all information and resolve issues.


What You Bring:


· Mechanical Engineering Passion: An early career mechanical engineer with a keen interest in product definition.

· Analytical Mindset: A structured and analytical thinker with an eye for detail.

· Process-Oriented: A pragmatic attitude with a focus on processes.

· Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft tools (especially Excel and PowerPoint), Teamcentre (PLM2020 and Part-centric structures), and NX. Experience with SAP is a plus.

· Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to provide clear instructions.
