ROLE- Mechanical Engineer

TERM- Permanent

LOCATION – Liverpool

SALARY- £40,000 - £50,000 (dependent on experience)

My client designs and manufactures equipment for Pharmaceutical industry. They are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join their team in Liverpool on a permanent basis.

The Mechanical Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:

At least 3 years’ experience in a similar Design Engineering / Mechanical Engineering position
Degree / HNC / HND / BTEC / NVQ qualified in Mechanical Engineering or similar
Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment
Experience working with machinery would be beneficial
A background in Water related industries would also be ideal – Specifically waste water!
Be proficient using 3D CAD software, they use SolidWorks and AutoCAD
Knowledge of a variety of materials and manufacturing processes
Good theoretical mechanical engineering knowledge of core principles and tight tolerances
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Proficient using MS Office
Excellent organisational skills and time management skills
Have the ability to work well alone as well as part of a small multi-disciplinary team

Using CAD for concept design and producing technical drawings
Designing machinery in the Pharmaceutical sector
