About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead one of the UK's leading M&E Subcontractors the delivery of mechanical works. This is a pivotal site-based role overseeing all mechanical installation activities, ensuring the project is delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage all on-site mechanical construction activities, including HVAC, plumbing, BMS, specialist gases, and process systems.
Coordinate mechanical subcontractors, ensuring work aligns with design specifications, safety requirements, and project schedules.
Liaise closely with the Project Manager, Design Team, and Client representatives to ensure seamless integration across disciplines.
Oversee quality control, testing, and commissioning of mechanical systems.
Monitor progress, manage site documentation, and report regularly on key metrics.
Enforce health, safety, and environmental standards in accordance with company and statutory requirements.Requirements:

Proven experience as a Mechanical Construction Manage or Senior Mechanical Engineer
Strong technical understanding of building services and mechanical systems.
Demonstrable experience coordinating subcontractors and managing fast-paced site environments.
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Relevant qualifications (e.g., HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services).
