About the Role

We are looking for a talented Mechanical CAD Engineer to join our growing team. As a Mechanical CAD Engineer, you will be responsible for updating and correcting 3D CAD models and producing accurate manufacturing drawings for steel fabrications used in industrial equipment. This is an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical CAD Engineer who wants to work on innovative products that help customers move towards carbon neutrality and contribute to a cleaner, smarter energy future.

Salary Guideline: £40,000–£42,000 plus pension, and early finish on Fridays.

Key Responsibilities

* Update and correct 3D CAD models for steel welded fabrications

* Produce and amend flat patterns and manufacturing drawings for welding fabrication processes

* Ensure accuracy and compliance with design standards and production requirements

* Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve design issues

Skills & Experience Required

* Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, SolidWorks or similar
