What will you do in the role?

This position plays an important role in ensuring our aircraft are maintained to a very high standard and that delays are kept to a minimum. The Mechanic will be responsible for carrying out maintenance on all Jet2.com aircraft, ensuring tasks are carried out safely, efficiently and on time. You will perform defect rectification and routine servicing as directed by the Licensed Engineers and Crew Chiefs, carrying out aircraft maintenance tasks according to CAA requirements and regulations. You will also be available at short notice for Aircraft on Ground (AOG) recovery.


What do we need from you?

  • You will have an operational background in aircraft maintenance, with experience working on commercial aircraft.
  • Experience working on Boeing and Airbus would be an advantage.
  • You will have full working knowledge of Health & Safety requirements, excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
