Overview

You will perform aircraft maintenance tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor or Certifying Licensed Engineer, ensuring all work requiring a Certificate of Release to Service (CRS) is completed per the MOE, EASA Requirements, and NAA regulations. You will be fully conversant with accomplishing allocated tasks and seek guidance for unfamiliar areas. A thorough verbal handover of any partially completed tasks is required, ensuring documentation is completed as far as possible. You will report any defects or safety risks to the Maintenance Supervisor or Base Manager, adhere to all safety precautions and procedures, comply with health and safety requirements, and ensure that all facilities, tools, and equipment are satisfactory for the tasks. Compliance with Station Standing Instructions and accepting other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested are also essential. Additionally, you will carry out all scheduled tasks assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with approved maintenance documentation.

  • Comply with Station Standing Instructions and accept other duties and responsibilities as reasonably requested.

Qualifications

  • Up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation; ideally time-served apprenticeship with operational experience in a hangar maintenance environment.
  • High degree of customer focus (internal and external).
  • Ability to work effectively in a team at all levels and willingness to be flexible to meet deadlines and overcome operational problems.
  • Working knowledge of Health & Safety Legislation and technical knowledge of aircraft, with the hand skills to carry out tasks.
  • Ability to use aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting/recording systems.

Location & Hours of Work

This full-time role will be based in Luton working permanent nights, 10.75-hour shifts. Shift pattern is a 28 day roster pattern, with occasional travel requirements to easyJet’s headquarters or network locations.
