Based primarily in Aberdeen Royal Infirmary


Permanent post 37 hours per week


Band 7


Responsibilities

  • Work collaboratively to provide safe and effective care.
  • Assist with early discharges as a core member of the MDT.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships within the Physiotherapy team, the MDT on the wards and other professional groups and services across NHS Grampian.
  • Play an integral role in assisting teams and colleagues to confidently apply the home first principles.
  • Core part of our weekend frailty service at commencement of this post.
  • Line manage and performance manage a team of staff.
  • Collaborate to ensure the delivery and embedding of change.
  • Work well under pressure and be able to challenge the multi-disciplinary team constructively to ensure safe and appropriate patient care is offered at all times.
